The Showground, which is the former park lands of Barwick House, enjoys stunning views across the Somerset and Dorset countryside across the flat site of 40 acres.

The Showground is accessible via a hard track throughout and can be hired in part or as a whole.

The facilities on site include –

• Permanent toilet block comprising of 8 ladies cubicles and 3 men’s cubicles and urinals.
• 3 phase electricity supply
• Water standpipes around the site
• Rugby Club house with fully licensed well stocked bar, commercial kitchen and onsite caterers
• Fully fenced site
• Permanent fenced main ring with double gates for access

The Showground also has a premises license which can be used as part of your booking and is licensed for the following activities:

• Plays
• Films
• Indoor sporting events
• Boxing or wrestling
• Live music
• Recorded music
• Dance performance
• Late night refreshment
